The UK Biobank Community is a hub for knowledge, collaboration and learning, and provides resources including:

Mandatory training for registered researchers

To ensure you’re fully equipped to start your project on the UKB-RAP, researchers are required to complete three mandatory courses:

  1. Medical Research Council (MRC) ‘Research, GDPR, & Confidentiality‘: Understand the legal and ethical framework for handling data responsibly.
  2. Introduction to UK Biobank: An overview of our resources and research potential. Information on researchers’ obligations to UK Biobank when using data.
  3. Introduction to the UKB-RAP: Learn how to navigate and use the UKB-RAP effectively.
