Bristol Imaging Centre directions

From the Haymarket, in the centre of Bristol, the number 75 bus runs every 12 minutes (journey time 40 minutes). Take the number 75 bus towards Cribbs Causeway alighting at Gipsy Patch Lane (North Bound), Filton (adjacent to the Royal Mail Distribution Centre).

From here the assessment centre is a 15 minute walk (1/2 mile). Walk in the opposite direction to the direction of travel of the bus and cross under the bypass. Proceed straight on Gipsy Patch Lane. Take the first right by Selco Builders Merchants and proceed to the roundabout; turn left and take the next left into the business park. UK Biobank is situated on the right-hand side and is the fourth unit along (Unit G4b).

Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station is approximately 9 miles (20 minutes by car) form UK Biobank Bristol Parkway Railway Station is approximately 2 miles (7 minutes by car) from UK Biobank. Both stations have well serviced taxi ranks. Patchway is the closes railway station to UK Biobank and is less than a mile away. However, please note that it is not serviced by a taxi rank.

From the M4 (South Wales or East of Bristol) or M5 Southbound:

From the M4, exit at junction 20 and join the M5 towards Bristol (West)/Airport. Exit the M5 from junction 16 from one of the two left-hand lanes, following signs for A38/Filton/Thornbury. After exiting the M5, use one of the two left-hand lanes and take the first exit at the roundabout onto Gloucester Road for just over 1 mile. Then, using the left-hand lane (for Yate) leave the A38. Next, take the left onto the B4057, there will be a Vauxhaull dealership on your left. After 300m, tun right into Horizon 38 Business Park at a set of traffic lights, near Selco Builders Merchants, then proceed to the roundabout. Take the first exit left, then take the next left into the business park. UK Biobank is situated on the right-hand side and is the fourth unit along (Unit G4b).

From Bristol:

Head north on Gloucester Road/A38. At Filton Roundabout, take the second exit to continue straight on, and after 3/4 mile, move to the left-hand lane to take the B4057 exit towards Yate. At the traffic lights, take the second right behind the bridge support onto Gipsy Patch lane/B4057 (be careful not to take the first right as this will take you back onto the A38). Continue on the B4057 for 300m and at the traffic lights by Selco Builders Merchants, turn right into Horizon 38 Business Park. Proceed to the roundabout and take the first exit left, followed by the next left into the business park. UK Biobank is the fourth unit on the right (Unit G4b).

From Southwest/Northbound M5:

Exit the M5 at junction 17 for Bristol (W)/Cribbs Causeway/A4018. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Merlin Road and continue straight. Take the second exit at the following two roundabouts. At the third roundabout, take the third exit (for Filton, Bristol A38) onto Hayes Way. Continue on Hayes Way, taking the second exit at the following three roundabouts. After the next set of traffic lights, the road splits into 5 lanes; stay in the middle lane (for Yate) to turn right onto Gloucester Road/A38. Then use the left-hand lane (for Yate) to exit the A38. Keep left and take the left turn to the B4057, a Vauxhall dealership will be on your left. After 300m, turn right at the traffic lights into Horizon 38 Business Park near to Selco Builders Merchants. Proceed to the roundabout, then take the first left. Take the following left into the business park and continue until reaching UK Biobank, the fourth unit (G4b) on the right-hand side.
