Our 2025 Scientific Conference will take place on Monday 8th December!
Explore the highlights of our annual Scientific Conference which took place in London on 10 December 2024.
More than 700 people attended the conference in person and 1,450 viewed the online stream from over 70 countries around the world. Attendees had the chance to hear about how access to primary care data would be transformational for the dataset, future projects to enhance our data and a taste of the scientific discoveries being powered by UK Biobank.
For the first time, we also invited over 250 UK Biobank colleagues to the event to celebrate all their efforts this year.
Our 2024 programme included:
Access Developments: the latest advancements in accessing UK Biobank resources.
Primary Care Data: discussion about the transformative value of primary care data for research.
Brain Health: insights into new plans for deepening our understanding of brain health.
Plus, the winner of the 2024 UK Biobank Early Career Researcher of the Year was revealed!
